A longime business owner (since 1974) and a former fire fighter (with AFD for over 20 years), Alfonso will use his experience to improve the quality of life for the residents who call Aurora home.
As the 2011 candidate for Aurora’s City Council Ward V, Alfonso Nunez believes in an Aurora that we can all be proud to call home. We deserve compassionate, elected officials who have first hand knowledge of their hopes and needs in education, business and quality of life. Alfonso is proud of his career serving his fellow citizens. He has been a business owner with his family in the community since the age of 13. Since that was not enough he also served our community as a first responder with our fine Fire Department.
Alfonso continues to show he cares about Aurora’s future by investing his energy in support of our children, schools and the redevelopment of our seemingly abandoned storefronts.
This election is about service to all of our citizens, opportunity for our citizens, and pride in our neighborhoods.
